The Zogby Presidential Greatness Survey reveals the least popular presidents based on their average favorability across four racial groups: White, African-American, Hispanic, and Asian.
Richard Nixon ranks the lowest with an overall average of 23.7, driven by low favorability among Asian Americans (20.7%) and Hispanics (22.9%). Close behind, Gerald Ford has an average of 23.8, with a stronger showing among African Americans (30.3%), but still low ratings among White Americans (21.0%) and Asians (20.7%). Joe Biden ranks third with an average of 26.3, bolstered by high favorability among African Americans (43.4%), but lower ratings from White Americans (17.8%) and Hispanics (21.8%).
Methodology: Zogby Analytics online survey of 1,000 U.S. adults, including oversamples of 400 African Americans, 400 Hispanics, and 400 Asians (12/30/2024 - 1/1/2025).
