Pollster John Zogby reports in our weekly White House report card that President Obama's approval rating is still improving, maybe because he can take credit for seeing 7.5 million jobs created under his watch.

"The president's numbers are looking good this week. His job approval rating is 46 percent and less than 50 percent now disapprove.

"More importantly, the number of jobs created last month picked up again and the numbers filing for jobless benefits declined again. Altogether, this administration can take credit for nearly 7.5 million new jobs as consumer confidence continues to tick up a little.

"The Senate appears ready to vote on Fast Track trade initiatives but Americans are pessimistic about race relations. On balance, not a bad week."
