In his weekly presidential report card, pollster John Zogby finds that the President Obama scored a victory on the Iran nuclear deal, but is dragged down by public concern over the economy and national security.

From Zogby:

"Senate Democrats were able to block a vote on the president's Iran deal. The House has vowed to fight it but not sure what they can do in the short or medium term — even though public support for the deal is down to only 21 percent. Mr. Obama wins this round.

"The president's polling numbers are at 46 percent approval but less than 30 percent feel the country is headed in the right direction. There is still considerable public angst over the economy and national security."
