President Obama gets a strong grade on his weekly report card for riding out his presidency with a good budget deal, thanks to the GOP, a plus to his presidency.

From John Zogby:

"President Obama rides out his presidency with a budget deal that lifts the imposed sequestration cuts, adds some new spending, and prevents the possibility of a government shutdown until he steps down in January 2017.

"GOP leaders argue that he got everything he wanted.

"Diplomatic efforts on resolving the Syrian crisis with news that Iran will now be invited to join multinational efforts seeking a resolution.

"And China makes its moves to establish control over disputed islands but American warships are on the way.

"A good week, a proud swan — not a lame duck."
